Dental X-ray
X-ray ambulance
The X-ray ambulance is equipped with a new, top-of-the-line Planmeca X-ray system, which enables the production of a wide range of high-quality 2D and 3D CT images of teeth, jaws, TMKs and cavities.
The state-of-the-art digital technology of the device provides
high diagnostic value of the 2D and 3D images with balanced contrast and well-readable details
maximum safety and comfort of the patient
minimal radiation load of the patient - use of the Planmeca Ultra Lowe Dose Protocol, which reduces the radiation dose by up to 75 % over standard values
child mode for each type of image with an emphasis on the safety and anatomy of the child's age
2D images
OPG images - standard, with or without jaws joints, interproximal, orthogonal
Extraoral bitewing - in comparison to intraoral bitewing, it also shows the apical region of the teeth with adjacent bone, ideal for children and patients with reflexivity
Single segment imaging - the possibility of taking images of distal teeth, frontal teeth of each side, ideal for children and patients with reflexivity
TMK images - images of jaw joints, with close/open mouth: anterior posterior image, lateral image
Sinus – image of jaw cavities
3D images
Spatial view of both or single jaws or smaller segments (tooth, adjacent tooth group with bone), TMK, jaw cavities
Visualization of the examined area in 3 planes - view in "cuts"
Eligible size of the area under examination (diameter x height of cylinder): Ø80 x 80 mm, Ø80 x 50 mm, Ø50 x 80 mm, Ø50 x 50 mm, combined volume 140 x 105 x 80 mm
We deliver 3D images on DVD with browser, allowing you to customize and conveniently handle the image
Advantages of 3D X-ray
3D (spatial) viewing provides better orientation in comparison to 2D image in a given segment of examined area, it contains incomparably more information. It significantly helps to accurately diagnose and decide on the therapeutic procedure. 3D images allow you perfect planning of treatments in every field of dentistry or ENT. The 3D sensor (available to the device) covers the entire denture area, thus it also creates optimal images of the upper and lower jaws. It is possible to capture a smaller area (e.g. a group of teeth with adjacent bones of the upper or lower jaw, detail of the jaw joint, jaw cavity).
